Giclee

Pronounced "jhee-clay", giclee is a sophisticated inkjet printing method. It merges the use of professional grade large format printers with archival pigment inks, acid free watercolor papers and canvas. By using custom profiles, precise color correction and expert scanning, these printers can render subtle gradations and many colors that would be out of range with other technologies.

We have a long running professional relationship with our giclee printing specialist who takes personnal time and attention to produce our art as the original slides, utilizing the latest imaging equipment and profiling technology.

All our art substrates are archival and acid free. We only use high quality brand name canvas such as Fredrix and PremierArt. Our papers are made by Hahnemuhle.

Hahnemuhle Photo Rag is a bright white German made 100% pure cotton, acid free paper designed for photo and smooth surface art reproduction. This paper has an amazing D-max (black) saturation, depth and color. Very smooth matte surface. 308 gsm

High-end inkjet digital black & white and color printing

Print on canvas or fine art papers with absolutely neutral tones. We use 3 different black pigmented inks and 5 process colors to render very high D-Max, wide gamut, virtually continuous tone giclee prints.

The beauty and brilliance of a pigment giclee on canvas and smooth or textured watercolor paper is unparalleled. While photographic media and mechanical lithographs are somewhat dull and limited in substrate choices, our custom printing process produces deep blacks, saturation and gradations hard to achieve with other media.
